FreshLooks ATX
Overview
My role
UI/UX designer
Austin-based company offering fence installation, light repairs, and yard maintenance. The main goal of the project was to redesign their outdated website with a focus on clarity, trust, and user convenience. The new site needed to function effectively on both desktop and mobile, helping users quickly understand pricing and easily book a service.

User stories
Fresh Looks ATX’s site feels outdated: no proper mobile/tablet responsiveness, chaotic layout without a grid, inconsistent typography and hierarchy, poorly organized colors, and an overall lack of unified, modern visual style with cohesive brand identity throughout.
Most Austin competitors have outdated designs, confusing structures, text-heavy pages, no visible pricing, weak portfolios, and hidden or unconvincing reviews. Their colors often clash and typography is hard to read.
The user stories were created to ensure the website meets the needs of different personality types while focusing on shared values: clarity, trust, and simplicity. Whether a user prefers minimal interaction or more visual engagement, the design supports both.
Wireframing
Based on the UX/UI audit, a desktop prototype of the updated Fresh Looks ATX website was created. It addresses the main issues of the current version—lack of structure, visual clutter, and an inconvenient user flow. The new concept offers a clear content hierarchy, intuitive navigation, and a visually balanced layout.
Final design
I designed a clean, intuitive interface focused on clarity and comfort. A white, light blue, and black palette creates a sense of calm and reliability, guiding attention effortlessly. Google Fonts ensure readability and approachability without corporate stiffness.
Several new features were introduced to improve the overall user experience. Each section now serves a clear purpose — from requesting a quote or callback to exploring services and pricing — helping users move naturally toward completing an order.
